Happy Humpday, everyone! I wanted to share a quick, funny story behind these photos before I talk about the outfit. My college BFF Emily came up to visit for a few hours two Saturday’s ago and we went over to Allaire State Park to check it out as that is the location my photographer suggested for our wedding photos. I had never been there but it’s this cute little historic town with beautiful brick buildings that has since been made into a state park. There were tons of people walking around and many photo shoots were happening so needless to say, that’s going to be the spot for our wedding photos! I also brought my camera along to take pictures of the places I really liked and so Emily could take some pictures of my outfit. When I went to go to take a picture of the most beautiful row of trees, my camera wasn’t working and I realized I didn’t have a memory card in it #bloggerfail. I loved my outfit so much that we decided to work with what we had and took all of these with my iPhone, and I think they turned out pretty well! Read More
Fall is my favorite time for beauty. The dark hues that beauty brands come out with this time of year are amazing. One of my favorite beauty products to shop for in the fall is nail polish. Over the years I’ve built up quite the nail polish collection, but I find myself going back to the same colors each fall. Below I’ve listed my most tried and true fall nail polishes. Essie “Wicked” is my absolute favorite! It looks almost black but is actually a deep burgundy color that is fabulous anytime of year, but especially during the fall and winter. A few of my other favorites are Essie “After School Boy Blazer,” OPI “You Don’t Know Jacques!,” and OPI “Lincoln Park After Dark.” Read More
Now that you’re engaged it’s time start wedding planning! The first thing you need to do before you can really begin doing anything else is to set a date and location. Below are the steps that Dan and I took when selecting a wedding date and location: Read More
It’s been a long time since I posted a Friday Five, but it’s back! October is going to be an extremely fun but hectic month for me. Last weekend I stayed at my sister’s place in Manhattan because we went to see Ed Sheeran Sunday night! I had seen him once before when he opened for Taylor Swift during her Red tour, so I was extremely excited to see him as the headliner. The concert was amazing! So amazing, in fact, that we’re going to try and get tickets for when he comes to MetLife Stadium next September! We’re going to try for floor seats this time (he’s worth it!). Read More
Summer will always be my favorite season, but fall comes in at a very close second. Part of the reason why is the clothes. Cozy knits, chunky sweaters, comfy leggings – it doesn’t get any better than fall fashion. Of course, I’ve yet to transition my wardrobe from summer to fall (because it’s been in the high 80’s most of September), but I’ve started to do some fall shopping in anticipation for the cooler weather that’s to come. A lot of fall clothing is timeless and is always in style year after year, so I thought I would do a post on my fall wardrobe staples. I don’t think anything on this list is groundbreaking, but I’ve added a few trendier pieces to my closet (like this suede moto jacket) that I can’t wait to wear when the weather cools down.
