This week seriously flew by! I think it’s because we had a snow day on Tuesday so it made the week feel shorter than it was. Last night I saw Beauty and the Beast and it was amazing!! There are no words to describe how incredible the movie was (the original is my all-time favorite) and I was so happy with how it turned out. It was magical and I plan on seeing it at least two more times. You must add that into your weekend plans!
One // Beauty and the Beast: If my short rant above doesn’t convince you to go see Beauty and the Beast, maybe this review from the New York Times will.
Two // Martha Stewart: I loved reading this brief article about how Martha Stewart became “Martha Stewart.”
Three // Tory Burch: This is such a great article about one of my favorite designers. This story touches on how Tory Burch created her brand, but it’s mostly about the challenges women face when it comes to running a business. It’s a great read.
Four // The Little Mermaid: If you haven’t heard by now, there is a new Little Mermaid movie coming out this summer. The title is very deceiving because it is not Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” and I know a lot of people are angry. Universal is producing this one and it’s based on the fabled tale, “The Little Mermaid” by Hans Christian Anderson (the story that inspired Disney’s The Little Mermaid). Putting all Disney feelings aside, the movie looks awesome and the story is told in Princess Bride-esque fashion. As someone who is obsessed with mermaids, I will definitely be going out to the theaters to see this one.
Five // 90’s Nostalgia: I loved loved loved this article. As someone who grew up listening to Britney Spears, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, etc, I loved reading this article about how (and why) 90’s pop music is taking over Las Vegas with record-breaking attendance.
