This week went by incredibly fast. May is going to be a crazy busy month for me. I have something on my calendar every weekend this month (two weddings back to back weekends!) except for this weekend, so I plan on relaxing as much as possible and enjoying time with my friends and family. This past weekend I went to Baltimore to visit my best friend from college. We lived together when we were at JMU, so we were with each other every second of every day and now I only see her about once every three months (that seems to be the pattern).
She lives in Columbia, Maryland so we drove there, put our bags down and changed our clothes, and left to go to our friend Tyler’s. We went to Baltimore to go to an Orioles baseball game, and Tyler lives about a 5 minute walk from the stadium. We ate some lunch/dinner at Tyler’s and hung out until about 15 minutes before the game. We walked over, got in our seats and enjoyed the game. The game went into extra innings and the Orioles won! It was so much fun and I ate way too much “baseball” food (hot dog, cheese fries, and funnel cake… oops) and needless to say I will be frequenting Baltimore more often this summer. Read More
I can’t believe that we are already more than halfway through April. Time is seriously flying. I took the quickest trip to Nashville ever last weekend (I was there for less than 48 hours) to celebrate my childhood best friend’s bachelorette party. It was one of the best trips with some of my favorite people and I wish I could have been there longer. We stayed out till 3am, barely slept, ate some great food, and got to explore a new city.
